Night 1: Be escorted to the railway station by HE staff for boarding the train to travel up Lao Cai city.
Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa – Hill Tribe villages - Homestay (B; L; D)
Arrive at Lao Cai Train station in the early morning around 05:00AM. You will be welcomed by local tour guide and taken and hour drive to Sapa town. Having a morning shower, luggage storage and breakfast at our colleagues' hotel/office. After re-energizing, from 09:00AM or earlier, start walking to Y Linh Ho, a village inhabited by the H'mong minority and Lao Chai village of the black H'mong people. Lunch pinic is served during the trips. Keeping on alongside Muong Hoa valley with natural & beautiful sceneries along the Muong Hoa river. Continue trekking down to and stop at Ta Van village of the Dzay minority. It is time to get relaxed after a 10 - 12KM medium walking day. Dinner and overnight here.
Night 2: Homestay at Dzay family
Day 2: Tavan – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa – Lao Cai station (B; L; D-)
Waking up in a peaceful, tranquil morning with fresh air mixed birds, pig/dogs sounds for a new day coming. Breakfast is prepared and served by the local people before our trip. Farewell to the family and a new trek through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai - home of Red Dzao people. Meet and talk to people to learn more about their daily life, customs and traditions. After few hours trekking, we will enjoy picnic lunch together with scenic views. Enjoy magnificent view of Ban Ho which is 30KM away or visit some local Tay's houses before passing the Cau May (Rattan Bridge) then back to Sapa town on shuttle bus. We will have a few hours to discover Sa Pa town or shopping in the local market. Shower is also free upon your request.
16.30 or later: Leave the town for Lao Cai train station depending on train departure time. Dinner (on your own cost) and lounge in a local restaurant here then catch the night train back to Hanoi.
Night 3: Night train back to Hanoi
Day 3: Hanoi
The train arrives at Hanoi in the early morning, Hanoi Elite Hotel staff will pick you up, and escort you back to the hotel (optional).
For guests who await to check-in, we highly recommend you order the extra package including All-you-can-eat breakfast and Spa coupon @USD39 per person. This will rejuvenate your body after the tiresome return journey from Sapa by train in early morning.
